Gabrielskloof Wines
As one of the Western Cape’s loveliest wine farms, Gabrielskloof is an environmentally minded, stunning Overberg attraction. Here, guests can enjoy quality wines and delicious food.

On-site restaurant, Farro, offers a classic-meets-comfort a la carte style menu, with fresh ingredients sourced from top local producers.
The menu is subject to change but offers a great selection, with everything from snacks, starters, and mains (including green pea risotto and pork belly) to sides, sweets and kiddies’ options.
There is also a tasty antipasti platter, with local cheeses, cold meats, focaccia and more.

Wildekrans Wine Estate

Another Bot River wine farm worth exploring is the endlessly beautiful Wildekrans Wine Estate.
This picture-perfect estate offers award-winning wines, olive oils, dining- and outdoor-experiences and luxury farm accommodation. They also serve as a stunning wedding-, conference- and function-venue.
For foodies, be sure to enjoy a meal at the elegant Restaurant, which showcases Overberg food at its finest. Sit outside on the tranquil terrace or inside among beautiful decor.
For accommodation seekers, Wildekrans has nine country cottages, which lie tucked away between the vineyard and plum orchards. (During your stay, enjoy restaurant dining, pool access, horse riding or MTB trails and more.) Best of all, Wildekrans accommodation is apparently both pet- and child-friendly.
As far as activities go, Wildekrans offers horse riding- and MTB-trails, as well as wine tasting and wine cellar tours.

This family-owned-Bot River estate is yet another gorgeous Overberg wine farm, one that offers everything from food and wines to stunning accommodation and fun things to do.
On the estate, guests can enjoy nature walks, fishing (for cottage guests only), bird watching and self-guided or guided hikes.
For the foodies among us: why not enjoy a wine tasting (with an optional cellar tour) or dine on tasty cuisine courtesy of Zest Deli and Kitchen?
